The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is planning to construct another ring road stating the problems of land acquisition and financial constraints.
Peripheral Ring Road, which is said to be around 260 kms, will connect the towns of Ghatkesar, Pochampally, Bhongir, Shadnagar, Sharmirpet, Dundigal, Medchal and Shankarpally.
This ring road is said to provide the inter connectivity to the Outer Ring Road and connect the urban pockets with each other. The project is mostly likely to be completed by 2012.
