According to the HMWS&SB authorities, people who need water connection can apply online from 20th February. According to the officials, applications are being accepted for 15mm connections initially. The applicants can currently apply online by downloading the application forms from www.hyderabadwater.gov.in, at Water Board office in Khairthabad or 14 operations and maintenance divisions in the city. With this new system, the applicants can get water connections in a period 10 days from the time of application, unlike the present period of 30 days.
