Hyderabad to Get Yet another New Museum

To project the 400 year old history of Hyderabad, the authorities of Salar Jung Museum has begun the work on a proposed “Town Hall” for setting up a unique Museum which will be housed in the Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority building at Darulshifa in the old city. This is the first of its kind museum, which is specifically being set up to give explicit knowledge about every detail of the city’s grand history.

The city has several museums but this one is very exclusive with a jointed model of an artist, replicas, photographs, models, history of important people, strucuture, buildings and the material that will tell the story of Hyderabad and which would also give us the information about the Kakatiya rulers who ruled from Golconda and the subsequent rulers of the Qutub Shahi Dynasty and the complete information with pictures of the Nizams who ruled Hyderabad.

The history of the city is not confined to the rulers and their families but also about the poets, musicians and the people who has contributed in making the city what it is today.

The artifacts, materials which are available with various government organizations would be collected and placed in the museum.

While it’s going to take little time to set up the new museum, but the authorities are set in motion.
