At long last, path for the 60 feet long road Balkampet-Fathenagar to Begumpet has been cleared. 39 buildings standing as roadblocks have been demolished by the GHMC.
The property owners were paid structural compensation. They were allotted alternate accommodation at a newly built housing colony at Yellamma Banda.
The amount of compensation to each beneficiary has also been adjusted with the beneficiary’s contribution for the new housing units.
The yet to be built road would reduce the distance between the intended points by 2.5 km.
