Performance of Government Colleges in Intermediate Second Year Examinations

The government colleges in intermediate second year exams fared well and showed that they are neither less nor backward than others.

The govt. colleges in state secured 62 percent, a few notches higher than the state average. The overall appearance of students for the intermediate exam is estimated at 1,03,632 and out of which the students declared passed were 63,791, which is of 62 percent. Last year, the performance of government colleges stood at 56 percent but now it has improved by six percentage points. The percentage of some government colleges is higher than the overall percentage of the performance of private colleges. For example: Adilabad-78%, Medak-69, Chitoor-70, Vishakapatnam-68, Srikakulum and Karimnagar 63 percent each.
