Private Colleges Hike Fee by Up To 50%

The private colleges affiliated to Osmania University have decided to hike fee by 50%. The reason is said to be rise in operational costs. Notwithstanding the fact there are a large number of colleges, courses such as B.Com (General), B.Com (Computers), B.Sc. (Maths, Electronics, Computers), B.Sc. (Biotechnology), B.Com (Hons), are in great demand. As there is no governmental control in any form, putting a threshold on fees collected by such colleges, the ownership/managements of these institutes have the freedom to raise the fee as they want.
