City Info-Tech Companies Advised to Stay Alert

Getting instruction from the Union government, the state government has asked the police to beef up security around companies like Google, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and others that are situated in Cyberabad.

Top state government officials are said to have directed the police to review the security situation in the firms. The companies are to get communication from the authorities in this regard.

The Union government reportedly got inputs from intelligence agencies that a gang of intruders, suspected to be sympathisers of Al-Qaeda, entered into the country via the Kutch in Gujarat and are likely to target American info-tech companies.
