Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Hyderabad, received international accreditation certification at the 8th Airport Council International (ACI), in the Asia-Pacific Small Airports region for its efforts in reducing and managing carbon emissions.

The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) received Airport Carbon Accreditation, by the Airport Council International (ACI), at Level – 2 for its reduction of carbon emissions.

The Airport Carbon Accreditation is a European standard for carbon emissions and management reductions at airports.

These strategies are internationally recognised methodology and independent verification and RGIA has successfully reduced emissions and carbon footprints.
