AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) facilitated the students to obtain and/or apply their application forms for common entrance tests (CETs) through online from this academic year 2013-2014. From now onwards, students need not roam around banks and post offices to get CET application forms.
The reason for introducing this online process for students is to eliminate the risks that they face like – re-visiting banks if forms are not available, waiting in long queues for getting/purchasing application forms at banks and post offices, etc. Now students can easily apply their forms through online.
This year, APSCHE has also extended the time limit to apply for remaining entrance tests – Ecet, Eamcet, PGLCET, PGECTE, Edcet, Icet, and Lawcet. On 8th January 2013, APSCHE released the time table for CETs and also reported that dates will be announced in the February 1st week for application registrations.
Thus, online process also saves the time and money of the APSCHE.
