More power cuts are expected to happen in the coming days as the state registers highest demand for power of 315 million units exceeding the previous high of 311 million units.
Andhra Pradesh is the third highest in power consumption in the country after Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh by touching the 315 MU. Every day the state falls short of 65 MU and if the power demand touches 325 MU mark, then there may be more power cuts.
It is learnt that all other states in the country are happy with their power supply and demand.
