There has been a sudden change in the weather from past two days. The city witnessed unexpected drizzles in many areas of the city that gave respite from the scorching summer heat.
With the change in weather, the temperature also dropped by four to five degree Celsius from the normal temperature.
Today, the city witnessed rainfall in many areas of the city including Himayathnagar, Tarnaka, Erragadda, Secunderabad. Areas like A.S.Rao Nagar, L.B.Nagar witnessed slight drizzles.
These unseasonal rains during summers, specifically in last week of April and first week of May are sudden and heavy, but often last for a short period of time. MET department officials predicted that rain in city may continue for a day or more.
