The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has decided to change the mode of payment in case the amount is more than Rs 50,000. HMWSSB is going to accept such amounts only by National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)/Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS).
Consumers need to know that each consumer has to credit a unique account number that is allotted to them.
