Ban on Recruitment, Promotion and Transfer of State Government Officials

Soon after the formation of Telangana state, a ban is going to be imposed on recruitment, transfer and promotion until allocation of employees between states is completed. Therefore, there will be no new posts, making temporary posts into permanent ones, etc. This is as per the Union government’s directive.

There will be transfer of about six lakh employees between two states. A reorganization committee is to be formed to deal this matter. The committee is to be headed by the chief secretary.
