Motorists Now Have New Carriageway at Lakdikapul

Good news for motorists who commute through Lakdikapul towards Ayodhya Junction and Masab Tank. You now have access to uninterrupted carriageway (old bridge) to use without waiting for long time at new bridge.

Under the new scheme, motorists going towards Ayodhya Junction and Masab Tank can access Lakdikapul old bridge and save time. Earlier, this old bridge was accessible only to motorists going towards Nirankhari bhavan and this restriction has been removed.

Commuters coming from Nampally and Ravindra Bharathi junction will have two choices – they can get an uninterrupted carriageway to go towards Masab Tank on new bridge. Or, they may use the old bridge to go towards Nirankari Bhavan.

However, the new scheme is not helpful for those coming from BSNL Bhavan and Ranga Reddy Collectorate towards Red Hills and Bazar Ghat. Pedestrians are also complaining that it would be difficult for them to cross the road at Lakdikapul Junction as the number of motorists going towards old bridge are more since the implementation of the new scheme.
