Ramps are being built at metro stations for facilitating wheelchair movements to the lifts and back. The height level of fare gates, buttons in the lift, ticket vending machines, etc. are getting designed to enable easy access for disabled people.

The gap between the train floor and the platform will be maintained keeping in the mind needs of disabled people.

At each station, special toilet facility will be provided for the physically challenged.

For visually challenged people, lift buttons will contain information in Braille at all levels of the station.

Ticket vending machines are also designed in a way that will help passengers with speech problems.
