With an objective of closing issues with old dues that are pending against users, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewage Board (HMWS&SB) is going to offer concession in interest to defaulters. This is to ensure that they pay off dues that are pending for long. This concession is applicable to users including government departments who have dues amounting to Rs 10, 000 or more.
To avail the interest concession, defaulters have to pay off the dues by the first week of March 2014. If the defaulters have any doubts, they can visit offices of Water Board at their 14 operation and maintenance (O & M) divisions.
