There are no genuine petrol pumps in Chandanagar area. But the below mentioned one (Bharat) is a better among all.

When you are heading from Taranagar bus stop to Adarsh Nagar on the Lingampally main road, you will come across a railway track. Cross the railway track and you’ll see a road to the left of the regular Lingampally main road. Adarsh Nagar Govt. School to the right side of the road can serve you as a landmark here. Keep yourself on the road counting the number of right turns. Skip to the fourth right turn and you will be able to see the Bharat petrol pump there.

I am sure there are lot more short cuts to reach this pump once you identify the right destination. But the directions we provided here are straight forward to help find the pump easily and for the people who are new to the area.

It is not necessary to drive towards this petrol pump if you are to fill up 1 or 2 liters. You can find one to the right side of the Lingampally main road in the same area. But it is really a value addition if you are trying to fill up in bulk here.

While you are traveling from Shobana bus stop towards IDPL on NH-9, you will find Amar Jyothi petrol pump (Indian Oil) on your left side after crossing Central Institute of Tool Design on your left. This petrol pump is located just before the Balanagar bus stop and on the junction from where the Jeedimetla main road (towards Chintal) is connected on your right.

If you are coming from Kukatpally towards Balanagar, you can find this petrol pump after crossing IDPL with in 1.5 kilometers approximately on your right side at the junction. You’ll see a petrol pump on your way but skip that and move on to the signal point. You may need to take a right turn at the junction to reach this petrol pump. You will find this Bharat Petrol Pump, while moving from Rathifile bus station, Secunderabad towards Sangeet theatre bus stop on Rezimental bazaar road. This petrol pump is located on the left side after the X roads opposite Sangeet theatre just before the Sangeet bus stop.

If you are traveling from Clock Tower towards Sangeet theatre on S.D road, you will find Deccan Chronicle office on your left side. As you move along the same road, you will find Sangeet theatre on your right side and Bharat petrol pump on your left on the cross roads. Don’t get confused with the Indian Oil petrol Pump, which is located near by.

Begumpet Area – Best Petrol pump 1

You will find this Indian Oil petrol pump (IOL) just after crossing the Hyderabad public school while traveling from Lifestyle.

If you are coming in the opposite direction, from Shoppers Stop bus stop towards Hyderabad Public School, you will find this petrol pump on your right side just adjacent to Hyderabad public school. As it is on to your right side, move a few meters along to find a crossing to the road divider and take ‘U’ turn.

Even if you miss this petrol pump in the traffic and chaos no need to disappoint. You can fill petrol at the next petrol pump (IBP owned) that is located after few meters just before the Begumpet flyover starts. The details are given below.

Begumpet Area – Best Petrol pump 2

While traveling from Shoppers stop bus stop towards Begumpet flyover, you will find this petrol pump (IBP) on your left side just before the Begumpet flyover starts. This is a company owned petrol pump.

If you are traveling from Prakashnagar towards Hyderabad Public School, you need to take a ‘U’ turn in front of Hyderabad Public School and come back to reach this petrol pump.

The Civil supplies petrol pump next to Secretariat is considered as the best petrol pump in town. It is run by the government and its measurement is accurate. It is located just beside the Secretariat. You can find this petrol pump while traveling towards Secretariat bus stop from A.G. Office or from Telephone Bhavan bus stop. In order to reach the petrol pump, you should not take the Telugu Talli flyover, as the petrol pump is located under it.

This petrol pump is always crowded because of its quality and all the government vehicles fill their tanks here. Another important thing you should be aware is that this petrol pump offers its services only between 8am to 8pm.

You will find this petrol pump (Bharat Petroluem) on your right side while going from chaitanyapuri bus stop towards L.B. Nagar on Dilsukhnagar main road. You can see Kothapet Telephone Exchange to your left on the Kothapet cross roads. Take right turn at the Kothapet cross roads and enter into the sub lane which is parallel to the main road. You will find this petrol pump on your right side after a few meters. This petrol pump is visible from the main road also.

While moving from Toli Chowki to Gachibowli, you can find this Shell petrol pump on the left side of the road after crossing Raidurg police station. As the outlet is maintained by Shell, the mileage of petrol is pretty high compared to regular petrol pumps. Remember the route map given below. It might be useful even if you do not belong to that area, but are having a trip through that route.

The petrol pump will serve between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm.

While going from Nallakunta towards Osmania University, you can find Indian Oil petrol pump to your left side after crossing Vidyanagar traffic signals. It is located opposite to Durgabai Deshmukh hospital. If you are coming from Osmania University, you will find this petrol pump to your right after passing the ICICI bank. They even have a State Bank ATM at this petrol pump.

When you are traveling towards Secunderabad from Habsiguda, you will find IBP petrol pump at Tarnaka cross roads on your left side. You should not get onto the flyover as it passes over the petrol pump. There are two more petrol pumps at this cross roads, on either sides of the road opposite to this petrol pump. However, this petrol pump is the largest of the three.
