50 Percent Tax Exemption for Heritage Buildings in City

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has proposed to allow 50% tax exemption for heritage buildings. It also informed that no new constructions should be taken up around 300m of any heritage monument without which the Archeological Survey of India would book cases. Considering this, the state government proposed to renovate Mahabub Chowk, Clock Tower, Qutubshahi tombs and the Deccan Park.
