Unregistered Sale Deeds Valid: High Court

The high court on March 25th stated that even an unregistered sale deed can become valid evidence in property dispute cases. While delivering the final judgment in a property dispute case, the high court justice mentioned that under section 49 of the Registration Act, 1908 unregistered sale deeds are recognized as valid proofs of occupancy.
