The GHMC commissioner stated that citizens living in and around Greater Hyderabad limits should submit their Voluntarily Disclosure of Property Tax forms before August 31, at Circle offices in Citizen Service Centres (CSCs) or on the GHMC website.
Citizens who fail to disclose their taxable properties will face a penalty of 3 years of property tax along with penal action against non tax payers.
The GHMC commissioner requested all the non tax payers within the GHMC limits to take this as a last chance for disclosing their property tax. He also stated that as per law utilizing the civic services without paying property tax is a crime and to avail improved civic works every citizen should pay the property tax.
