Fine amount for signal jumping and wrong parking has increased from Rs.200 to Rs.1,000, and for cell-phone driving from Rs.500 to Rs.1,000. This is very harsh to middle-class citizens. Rs.1,000 is a big share of middle-class person’s monthly income and also encourages corruption. Government should frame policies, that are beneficial to people.
