The election date is fast approaching, if you haven’t got your voter ID card, here is a way to check the status of your voter card. You can check the status of newly applied card or for corrections in the existing card.
- Simply click this link – https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/Â and follow the below process.
- Default language is Hindi/English – you can change language by using ‘select language’ option.
- There are 3 tabs:
- Search by Details
- Search by EPIC
- Search by Mobile
- For most people only ‘search by EPIC’ was working
- Once you click the EPIC tab link you will find the below form.
- Fill the form. You may have to enter the ‘Captcha’ code more than once – be patient and try again. Click on the ‘Search’ button.
- Once you find your details – print it or take photo on your mobile for later reference.
Note: Telangana State Election Commission is only for Municipal elections and Panchayat bodies – search on the Election Commission of India site i.e. https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/ not state election commission site.
