The Election Commission is offering for corrections and transposition in electoral rolls and issue of voter ID cards at e-Seva centres in Hyderabad in all the 24 assembly constituencies of GHMC.
This makes easy for people to get the data corrected in electoral rolls as well as electors photo identity card (EPIC). The measure is being taken at e-Seva centres, Mee-Seva centres and Citizen Service Centres in all districts.
Concerned voters have to submit Form-8 for correction or Form-8A for transposition of entry along with photocopies of required documents for making corrections in the electoral rolls and on EPIC. A small amount of Rs.10 is charged as service fee. Voters would get rectified laminated cards from the centres concerned. The application has to be submitted at the e-Seva centre in his/her assembly constituency.
Having the form thus submitted, electors will get the EPIC after seven days. The e-Seva will let the elector know about the same through an SMS or any other mode of communication.
Further, if any elector chooses door delivery, the EPIC is going to be sent to the address given in the application by speed post.
