Customers can call Metro Customer Centre (MCC) of HMWS&SB at 155313 from their mobile numbers using interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) facility. It is effective from December 24. The IVRS will work for the two services namely Dial-A-Tanker and sewerage choke at customer premises.
The IVRS will help customers book tankers of water or complaints regarding sewerage blocking within customers’ premises. In booking a tanker a confidential PIN is generated and is sent via SMS to customer’s mobile number and the IVRS.
The PIN is to be preserved and submitted by the customer to the tanker person after proper delivery.
Customers not having registered mobile numbers with HMWS&SB should preserve the latest bill number, receipt number for evidence and for updating mobile number.
