Andhra Pradesh Insists of Having HMDA Area as Joint Capital

There is a recommendation by the state government that the area covered by HMDA (Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority) be made a Union Territory until Andhra Pradesh state builds its capital.

Regarding other issues, government also told employees of Seemandhra who are working in Hyderabad shall be allowed to work here if they are willing. These recommendations are included by the government in its 25 page report to GOM (Group of Ministers).

This report is about issues and problems such as water sharing by both states, law and order, debts revenues and many more. The GOM will meet the leaders of different political parties to discuss these issues and seek their suggestions on 12th and 13th of November. To finalize these issues another meeting will be held on November 14th.
