Many types of TSRTC general bus passes are offered for the people of Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Cyberabad. The TSRTC general bus pass details and types are provided in this page. Also you will find TSRTC general bus pass rates for the various bus types like general, metro express, Metro Deluxe, Pushpak AC and Metro Luxury AC. For your benefit we have also provided a picture of the bus so that you can compare and decide.
GBT (General Bus Ticket) Monthly:
People of twin cities can avail general bus ticket for Rs.950/-. With this TSRTC general bus pass, passengers can travel in ordinary TSRTC buses under city and sub-urban regions. This pass is valid for one month. Regular red/orange coloured buses plying on the city roads are the ordinary buses. With this pass, you can also travel in any of the buses that are mentioned below by purchasing a combination ticket.
Combination tickets can be availed from the conductor of the respective bus. From recent past, TSRTC is also allowing student bus pass holders to purchase combination tickets. The ticket is valid for only that particular trip of the bus.
Metro Express Monthly: Passengers having this metro express TSRTC bus pass can travel in Metro Express buses as well as in ordinary buses. This pass costs Rs.1070/- and passengers can travel in city and sub-urban regions for one month. Metro Express buses are generally blue in colour. They have wider middle entrance for easy entry and exit of the passengers. With this pass, you can also travel in any of the buses that are mentioned below by paying some extra amount for a combination ticket. If you are having a GBT pass and want to travel in Metro Express buses, the price of combination ticket will be Rs.10.
Metro Deluxe Monthly:
Metra Deluxe bus pass costs Rs.1185/- and is valid for one month. Passengers with this pass can travel in city and sub-urban regions in TSRTC’s ordinary, Metro Express and Metro Deluxe buses. They have comfortable seats and wider windows. If you are having a GBT or Metro Express pass and want to travel in these buses, the price of combination ticket will be Rs.10.
Pushpak AC Monthly: Pushpak AC buses are air-conditioned 45 seater buses to travel within the city. Apart from air conditioning, these buses are spacious enough for passengers to board and exit comfortably. Since charges are bit higher than regular services for the Pushpak AC TSRTC bus pass, the crowd in these buses is comparatively lesser. The monthly bus pass costs Rs.2,625/-. If you are having a GBT, Metro Express or Metro Deluxe pass and want to travel in these buses, the price of combination ticket will be Rs.20.
Metro Luxury AC Monthly: These are premium air-conditioned Volvo buses introduced in limited number by TSRTC, with service in selected routes currently. As per the name, these buses have high-quality interiors like push-back seats, spacious leg room, sound-proof glasses and quality AC facility, enabling a comfortable commute of the passengers. These buses are also equipped with Vehicle Tracking, GPRS Passenger Information System, CCTV cameras and mobile charging points. The monthly bus pass costs Rs.2,100/-. If you are having a GBT, Metro Express, Metro Deluxe or City Sheetal Hamsa pass and want to travel in these buses, the price of combination ticket will be Rs.35.

ID card: Please note that an amount of Rs.30/- will be charged extra to obtain an ID card for all the above passes. This card will be valid for 1 year. Since the bus passes are not transferable, the ID cards are to ensure this policy. The ID card will have the details of the holder including photo, name, sex, age, address, phone number, etc., and a unique ID number which has to match with the ID number in the pass. It is very important to carry this card along with the pass, or else the pass can be dismissed as invalid by the TSRTC staff. This card should be shown every month, while renewing the bus pass.

Timings:
- From Monday to Saturday, bus pass centres are open from 8 am to 8 pm.
- On Sundays, they operate from 8 am to 2 pm.
- We cannot depend on ‘Only Renewal Counters’ with respect to timings
- On public holidays, the working of bus pass centres depends on decision of the TSRTC.
Travel As You Like Ticket: General public can avail ‘travel as you like ticket’ from bus conductors of all services. This ticket allows the passenger unrestricted travel in the city and sub-urban regions for one full day. Two types of travel as you like tickets are available. ‘Travel as you like ordinary’, which enables the holder to travel in any ordinary bus in the city and sub-urban regions. ‘Travel as you like metro’ enables the passenger to unrestricted travel in metro express buses for that day.
