Students of Hyderabad can now get reliable information about studying in the United States at the newly opened Satellite Information Center (SIC) at the Osmania University.
The Osmania University has recently opened an information center in collaboration with the Hyderabad US Consulate and the US-India Educational Foundation (USIEF). Students from the city can walk in to the center to clarify their doubts and refer to any information about universities in the US.
The US Consulate officials said that they have started this information center to guide the students in the right direction. They also advised the students to be aware of the private agencies, which may misguide and send students to Universities that don’t match their career needs as they (private agencies) look for their commercial benefits only.
The center provides books and accurate information on how to go about your application and course details of US universities available to the Indian students. It also offers reference material on all aspects of higher education in the U.S., University directories, instruction booklets for applying to a U.S. University and study-guides and application forms for TOEFL, GMAT, GRE and SAT tests.
The center remains open six days a week from 10 am to 1 pm from Monday to Friday and on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm.
