Hyderabad, the fifth largest Metropolis of India is now emerged as a world’s third most affordable office locations in 2011. In a list prepared by DTZ, Hyderabad stood in the third place followed by Chennai and Pune among the top five such positions.
DTZ, a realty consultant firm, has recently conducted a study named ‘Global Occupancy Costs – Offices’ and found that Surabaya in Indonesia and Qingdao in China were the top two most affordable office locations in the world during the year 2011.
The top two places which are in Indonesia and China attracted average annual rentals of USD 1,680 and USD 2,380 respectively per workstation, whereas the next three locations Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune from India saw annual rentals of USD 2,430, USD 2,570 and USD 2,590 per workstation respectively.
The report also revealed the list of World’s most expensive office markets, in which Hong Kong, London, Geneva, Tokyo and Zurich were on the top 5.
