However, the amenities and facilities they provide have been updated to serve the present generations. 1. Secunderabad Club:
The Secunderabad Club, established in 1878, is not only the oldest club of Hyderabad, but also is one of the five oldest clubs in India. The club started as an exclusive club for British military officers.
Location: Picket, Secunderabad
Membership: The club offers various membership types like permanent, mess member, associate, lady member, corporate, temporary member, etc. The entrance fee into the club ranges from Rs.500 – Rs.20 lakh whereas the monthly subscription fee is between Rs.500 – Rs.1,000 based on the membership type.
Facilities: Library, sports & games, guest rooms, pavilions, ladies beauty parlour, men’s salon, ATM, petrol pump, super market, vegetable shop, movie screens, sailing annexe on Hussain Sagar lake, etc.

Sailing Annexe Club is a part of Secunderabad Club, and it is located on Tank Bund main road, opposite to Mariott. The club offers a ride on the boat on the Hussain Sagar lake.
2. Nizam Club:
The Nizam Club is considered as one of the best and oldest clubs of Hyderabad. Established in the year 1884 by Mahbub Ali Khan of Asaf Jahi dynasty, the club is formed in Indian response to the British Secunderabad Club.
Location: Saifabad, Hyderabad
Membership: The club membership is open to all. Life time membership costs around Rs 50,000 (reference required).
Facilities: Tennis court, library, billiards, cards, shuttle court, swimming pool, health club and banquet hall. It also organizes special events like tambola, dandiya, musical nites and many other events.
3. Jubilee Hills International Club:
The club was formed in the year 1987.
Location: Jubilee Hills.
Facilities: Swimming pool, tennis court, badminton court, cards, squash, billiards, snookers, basketball, cricket grounds and more. The club also has stylish pub, beautiful lawn and restaurants.
4. Deccan Club:
The Deccan Club was established in the year 1900.
Location: East Marredpally.
Membership: The club offers three types of memberships, honorary members, permanent members and lady members. A non-refundable entrance of Rs 50,000 should be paid to become a member, along with monthly subscriptions of Rs 150 every month.
Facilities: Billiards, caroms, table tennis, restaurant, gym and play area for children.
5. Hyderabad Golf Club:
The Hyderabad Golf Club It is a non-profit society, formed in the year 1992. The club is famous for its courses in golf. The club has a well maintained golf club with standard 18 hole distanced across 4,525 yards and 66 pars.
Location: Opposite Qutub Shahi Tombs, Golconda.

6. Chiraan Fort Club:
The Chiraan Fort Club was established in the year 1993. The club is known for its luxurious suites, rooms and beautiful lush green lawns. The club is labelled as “Club for the Privileged”. It has furniture and paintings of the Nawab era.
Location: Begumpet, opposite to Police Lines.
Membership: The club offers regular membership, life membership, permanent membership and corporate institutional and executive membership. The membership ranges from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,00,000.
Facilities: Swimming pool, library, banquet hall, health club, badminton, squash, billiards, table tennis, multi-cuisine restaurants, business rooms and suites, recreational activities and many more.

7. Film Nagar Cultural Club:

Location: Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills.

The Celebrity Club was formed in the year 2004.
