SETWIN, short for Society for Employment Promotion & Training in the Twin Cities, was founded on August 15, 1978, under the visionary leadership and patronage of then Chief Minister Dr. Marri Channa Reddy. The Society for Employment Promotion & Training in Twin Cities, commonly known as SETWIN, was established and is overseen by the Government of Telangana. Its purpose is to create employment and self-employment opportunities for unemployed individuals in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Initially, SETWIN focused on offering training in numerous vocational courses at a nominal fee to empower the youth.
SETWIN Bus Services
In addition to providing training services, SETWIN operates minibuses to support transportation initiatives by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) in Hyderabad. These minibuses were introduced in October 1979 to offer cost-effective and easily accessible public transportation across the twin cities.
