From HR Manager to the Engineer

At the end of a job interview the HR Manager asks a young engineer fresh out of the college –

HR Manager – “And what starting salary are you expecting?”

Engineer replies – “I am looking for a package of 9 lakhs a year, depending on the benefits package.”

HR Manager – “Well, what would you say to a package of 2-week company sponsored vacation to Switzerland, medical allowances, retirement fund to 50% of salary, and a company car, say, a silver Honda City?”

The engineer sits up straight and says – “Wow! Are you kidding?”

HR Manager replies – “Yeah, but you started it.”
