The State Bank of India opened small and medium enterprises (SME) city credit centre in Kukatpally. It is the second branch in the city. It will serve SME customers – in the service are of 47 branches of the bank.
The centre would tender provide professional experience in appraisal, sanctioning and monitoring of loans to SME customers.
The SME industry was affected because of the ‘environment’ factors in the economy. As there seems to be turnaround in the performance in the last two years, the in the current fiscal, that is 2012-13 is expected to be better.
