With the rise in temperature, the state government has asked state government schools and private aided schools to have half day schools from March 15 till the exams are completed.
Many schools across state have begun half-day schools. The timings are from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, there will be six classes of 35 minutes each.
Some schools have already finished exams of the 9th standard and have started a few chapters of 10th standard syllabus.
