Hyderabad Traffic Police is planning to give live traffic updates to motorists in the city. Live traffic information such as traffic diversions, intensity of traffic, etc. is to be displayed. Digital display boards are going to be installed for the purpose at 20 important places across the city. The boards are going to be operational by August 2013.
The proposed 20 places are the major entry and exit points to the city and main traffic junctions. These include Sangeet Crossroads, Bowenpally, SR Nagar, Panjagutta, Begumpet, Jubilee Hills Checkpost, RTC Crossroads, Basheerbagh, Rethibowli, MJ Market, VV Statue, Uppal, Kukatpally, Gachibowli and Hi-tech City in Cyberabad.
