As per police sources, the number of deaths in road accidents is increasing in Hyderabad city.
In Hyderabad, the death rate is found to have marginally increased over the last few years. In 2011, the percentage of fatal accidents in the city was nearly 16. It rose to 18% in 2013 and until March 2013 it was 20%.
The proportion of road accidents resulting in deaths is still high in Cyberabad by a big margin. In 2011, 33% of the road accidents in Cyberabad were fatal and in 2012 it was 30%.
