AP High Court – Do Not Link LPG Subsidy to Aadhaar

The Andhra Pradesh High court directed the oil companies not to make Aadhaar card compulsory to get cooking gas (LPG) at subsidized price.

Union Petroleum Ministry clarified to High Court that no official notification has been made to make Aadhaar card mandatory for LPG subsidy for household consumers.
