People without Voter Cards can Vote with Other Ids, Can Get Discounts at Hospitals by Casting Vote

Voters whose names are in the voters list but do not have electoral photo identity cards can vote in the elections with other identity cards. These include driving licence, passport, service ID cards with photos, bank or post office passbooks, PAN card, Aadhaar card, job card, pension document, health insurance smart card or authenticated photo voter slip issued by election machinery.

And, those who are casting vote this time can avail 25% discount on consultation fees at hospitals run by Indian Medical Associations. Voters can avail the benefit by showing the black ink dot. The objective this measure is to encourage voters.
