The popular e-Seva is about to offer one more service to the people. A newspaper (Deccan Chronicle) article recently published that applications for new gas connections will be accepted in all e-Seva centers across AP. It is said that this there was a good response to the experimental start in Hyderabad.
Many consumers who apply for new gas connections complain that the dealers force them to purchase a gas stove and other related accessories from them even if they have one. It is reported that the dealer makes around Rs.1,000 as a profit on the sale of the gas stove and other accessories.
