The Transport Department has the plan to start a call center and online service to gather complaints of applicants. Applicants can give the complaints by making a call to call center from any place of the state. Complaints can be from spelling mistakes in certificates to delay in getting documents or certificates. Applicants will be given an acknowledgment, estimated time to address the complaint and the procedure which will solve the problem, after filing a complaint.
The discussions are going on with Center for Good Governance to start the call center in association with e-Seva centers. This can be beneficial for applicants and department in solving their complaints. Officials have the plan to start this center before 30th July across the state. They are trying to provide online complaint service facility apart from call center. A website will be started or a link in the department’s website ‘www.aptransport.org’ will be provided.
There are limited services of current toll free number 1074 service, applicants cannot add the complaints for all the services which are offered by the department. But applicants can lodge the complaints in this call center service.
