With the increased number of allegations around the allotment of management quota seats in the private medical colleges, the High court has issued fresh guidelines to make the allotment process more transparent. After considering many allegations that these colleges are selling the management quota seats at much higher prices the court has taken this step.
According to the new orders, the managements of the medical colleges have to follow merit in accordance with the marks secured by the candidates in their intermediate examinations for allotting the management quota seats. The court also asked the authorities to submit the final list to the court before it is finalised. The order also urged the authorities to ensure immediate implementation.
