Renault KWID, a hatchback segment car of Renault, may give a tough competition to the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 and Hyundai EON (which fall in same category with similar price) in terms of performance and looks. KWID is available in 6 different variants with 5 different colors (Red, White, Silver, Bronze and Grey), and hence it is customizable according to the need. Renault launched KWID on 24th September this year and has total bookings of 25000 units in the first 2 weeks of its launch. The delivery of cars has already started in the metro cities with a waiting period of 25 to 35 days and for the Tier II cities deliveries will begin from January. Delivery of the recently booked cars may be get effected by Chennai floods, as Renault has its manufacturing facility only at Oragadam near Chennai.
