Are you still standing in long queues at electricity bill payment counters or at e-seva centers? Now you can choose online mode to pay your power bills. Though it was launched one year back, many people are still ignorant of this service. So, CPDCL officials wanted to spread awareness to people about this and released a press release.
If you want to pay your electricity bill online, you need to go to CPDCL official website www.apcentralpower.com and click on the ‘pay your bill’ option displayed on right side of the screen. You need to specify if it is the current or advance payment after entering the district’s name, ERO and service connection number. Address, Name, bill details and the amount which you have to pay will appear on the screen. Once you enter the card details and security check is done the operation will be completed. Another option you can avail is payment through Electronic Clearing Service, for which you need to fill an application form available in the website. You can also put your grievances and complaints on the web enabled customer service centers.
