State government has decided to increase the maximum age limit for government jobs by two years. The general administration department (GAD) has issued a GO to this effect.
Under the GO, the maximum limit for general candidates is 36 years; for SC, ST and BC candidates 41 years and 46 years for physically challenged candidates. The exemption applies for all job notifications issued before 31 December 2013.
