The Admission and Fee Regulation Committee (AFRC) has come up with its report on engineering colleges fee structure and has handed over the report to the government on 3 July 2013.
According to the report, fee in nearly 200 engineering colleges is likely to be Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000 and in other 300 engineering colleges the fee is likely to be between Rs 35,000 to Rs 1.25 lakh.
The AFRC has increased 10 per cent on the existing fee in colleges that sought higher fee structure.
The government will go through the report and give its green signal within two days. Once the fee is finalised, admission process will start.
