Answer sheets of maximum scorers in the SSC and Intermediate exams will be made available on the Internet for the first time.
The move is attempted to bring transparency in an evaluation process which is involved in controversies. Students, parents and college managements claim large-scale flaws and partiality shown by evaluators towards certain colleges to allow them to get state ranks. Previously, students used to get highest marks only in Mathematics and the evaluators awarded less than 90 per cent in other subjects.
But now, the situation is changed when corporate colleges came into the existence in the late ’90s. Students were awarded 100 per cent marks even in language papers became a regular feature. This resulted in many controversies regarding the evaluation process as corporate colleges competed with each other to publicize state ranks.
