Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation will be issuing birth and death certificates, addition of name of the child, alteration of birth and death certificates and birth through eSeva from April 3 onwards.
From April 3rd , people can avail the services of e-seva to register for birth or death certificate. While the birth is acquainted in Form No.1, the death is acquainted in Form No.2. If the birth or death happens in hospitals, hospital in-charge is responsible to inform the Registrar regarding births and deaths within 21 days of the incident. If the event happens in the household, then the head of the household is responsible to inform about it to Registrar within 21 days. The eSeva will not collect any fee for the this service and every person is permitted to one free certificate.
Citizens existing or working abroad can also apply for birth and death certificates through online at www.esevaonline.com and obtain certificates by courier service.
