This year, students appearing for Eamcet 2010 can get their marks and ranks through SMS. The decision was taken up by taking into consideration complaints from students in rural areas who could not obtain the results on the Eamcet website.
The student’s or guardian mobile number information will be used to send important details about the examination to the candidates. This information will also be available on other sources.
Eamcet 2010 is scheduled to be held on May 30 and the hall tickets for the exam will be delivered from April 30. The marks and ranks will be forwarded to the phone numbers given by the students in the Eamcet application forms. The results are also available online on the website www.apeamcet.org.
Eamcet results will be announced in a phased manner, first marks will be announced and later ranks will be announced after the announcement of intermediate results.
The marks of students who completed intermediate under Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) will get them from the same board shortly. Students who come under other boards like CBSE and ICSE will have to convey their marks to the Eamcet convener using a separate application after their results are out.
Authorities said that students who couldn’t get their hall tickets by post can download it from the website www.apeamcet.org. A duplicate hall ticket will also be issued for those interested, at their corresponding examination centres one day prior to the test. For further inquiries, the students can call on numbers 23150362 or 23150462.
