An Integrated Security Scheme has been framed for 195 vulnerable and sensitive railway stations. For the South Central Railway, this scheme is being carried out in Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Tirupati Railway stations with an expense of nearly Rs 6 crore.
This information was given on the backdrop of 10th All-India Police Band Competitions that were held peacefully for four days in Hyderabad. Nearly 23 teams from all states and Central security services took part in the event and about 1,110 police personnel exhibited their skills in the competitions. The police band competitions were conducted in three various sections like Pipe band, Brass band and Bugle Calls.
In the 10th All-India Police Band Competitions Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), New Delhi, won first prize under the Bugle Calls category. Border Security Force (BSF) won first prize under Brass Band category and West Bengal Police team won first prize under Pipe Band category. The BSF team also won over all Championship trophy.
