Swine flu seems to return back in Andhra Pradesh, because one fresh case of H1N1A influenza was reported in the Hyderabad and made the number of infected persons to four till now in this year, Health Department authorities said.
A 43-year-old person staying at Nizamabad district confirmed positive for swine flu and has been admitted in intensive care unit (ICU) of Government General and Chest Hospital at Erragadda in Hyderabad. Chief Coordinator of Swine Flu Cell at the Chest Hospital said that patient has been kept on ventilator and his condition remains to be critical.
The new case is the first patient to be held on ventilation at Chest Hospital in this year. Nearly 786 persons tested positive for H1N1A influenza flu virus during last year whereas 53 deaths were reported due to swine flu in Andhra Pradesh.
