Mall managements and commercial establishment owners will have to get permission from local Deputy Commissioner of police to call any celebrity for their brand promotion activities.
This decision was taken by Commissioner of Police, as it has become a very regular event in city and every time leading to much of public discomfort through traffic jams in congested areas, stampedes, disturbance in public order, etc by attracting huge crowd.
In order to avoid this, managements will have to take permission from concerned zonal DCPs, prior to conducting events in which celebrities will participate.
A severe action will be taken against managements and they will be prosecuted under relevant sections, if they conduct such events without permission.
